Since the evening of April 2, the online community has spread clips of angry residents gathering in front of the lobby of an apartment building in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, asking the girl who owns 19 dogs to move house.
The content of the clip shows that some angry residents said that the girl keeping 19 dogs greatly affected the living environment in the RP apartment building.
Every day, they have to endure noisy barking dogs, bad smells, and unhygienic conditions from the girl’s apartment. One man even raised his voice and called on everyone to “join forces” to invite this girl to move house.
Regardless of everyone’s reactions, the owner of 19 dogs tried to argue and challenge. To resolve the incident, residents informed the police of Phu Thuan ward, district 7 to come and work.
When local police arrived, the girl still did not cooperate, claiming that the apartment residents were not behaving properly.
Then, in the clip, the owner of 19 dogs said that the landlord and the apartment management board announced it too quickly, not giving her time to find a new home.
The representative of the Management Board came up with a plan to find and rent a warehouse near the apartment for the girl. Her property and 19 dogs will be preserved and cared for while she finds a new home to rent.
However, the girl did not agree and left, leaving behind 19 dogs and belongings. She also wants to sue the management board and apartment residents if she loses her property and dog.
By April 3, more clips related to the incident appeared on social networks. According to these clips, the girl has not yet returned to pick up the 19 dogs and bring their belongings to the new place. Everything is gathered outside the apartment yard. Seeing this, apartment residents helped bring 19 dogs to a cool place and feed them.
Through verification, the owner of the 19 dogs in the above incident is Ms. NP (35 years old). On the afternoon of April 3, Ms. P. returned to the RP apartment to move her belongings to another place. 19 dogs were also temporarily adopted by a pet care facility.

Ms. P. confirmed that the landlord unilaterally terminated the rental contract on the grounds that her dog was causing noise.
“I don’t owe the landlord even a penny. When I signed the rental contract, I didn’t pay attention, so there were clauses that were detrimental to me. Therefore, they unilaterally terminated the contract, without compensation, and arbitrarily entered the house and evicted me.
Currently, I ask a pet care facility to help me raise 19 dogs. They volunteered to help spiritually. Many people say I don’t have enough money to raise a dog. This is not right, I can afford to raise 19 dogs and there is no way to raise dogs for business,” Ms. P. was upset.
Ms. P. said she is looking to rent a house that allows her to keep 19 dogs. In recent days, Ms. P. has been living at an acquaintance’s house.
The reporter contacted the RP Apartment Management Board to learn more about the incident. However, the representative of the Management Board said that everything is waiting for the police to handle.
