I am the first among the girls of my generation

Popular Moroccan artist Ikram Abdia held a press conference this evening in Rabat, on the sidelines of her selection to participate in the activities of the 19th edition of the Mawazine Rhythms of the World Festival, where she will take the Salé stage.

Al-Abdiya expressed her thanks to the management of the Mawazine Festival for giving her the opportunity to participate in the artistic event and meet her fans in the city of Salé.

In response to media questions, Ikram said that her specialization in folk art is due to the fact that she belongs to a popular community and was raised in the Abda region known for the art of Aita, adding that she presented modern songs that were successful, but not as great as folk art.

She continued that the popular song remains representative of Morocco and has not yet reached the Arab world, hoping that it will reach its role, even though the modern song is superior.

Regarding her classification as one of the first-class stars in Morocco, the young singer said that she considers herself the first among the girls of her generation, highlighting that she chose the popular artist Zeina Daoudia to perform a duet with her.

During the same press conference, the spokeswoman stressed that the artist must be humble and ethical in everything and maintain continuity in giving to remain on his throne, and take care of himself, his physical energy, and his appearance in order to continue well in his artistic career.
