“Since the start of the Eid transportation period from March 31 2024 to April 21 2024, the number of long-distance train travelers, based on monitoring today, Wednesday, is the total number of customers who have and will depart, currently there are 684,033 people,” said Ixfan in a press statement, Wednesday (10/4/2024).

“And this data will still change because the ticket sales process is still ongoing and the availability of post-Eid homecoming tickets is still available,” he explained.

Ixfan said that the peak of homecoming traffic during the Eid transport period occurred on April 8 2024 and KAI Daop 1 Jak had served 47,852 passengers. “Meanwhile, monitoring of the return flow will occur on April 15 2024, there will be 44,408 passengers,” he added.

For departure data on April 10 2024, continued Ixfan, more than 43,856 passengers departed from the Daop 1 area of ​​Jakarta. Details of departures from Gambir were 16,434 passengers and from Pasar Senen 18,825 people.

Meanwhile, arrival data at Daop 1 Jakarta as of April 10 was 5,718 alighted at Gambir Station, 13,386 disembarked at Pasar Senen Station, and the rest at other stations in the Daop 1 Jakarta area.

As for today, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta operates a total of 75 long-distance train trips, 41 trains from Gambir Station and 34 trains from Pasarsenen.
