The driver of a truck miraculously survived after a huge rock fell on the heavy vehicle.
The incident occurred on the morning of Saturday, March 2, at kilometer 97 of the Central Highway, in the district of San Mateo de Huanchorthe one in Huarochiri.
Peruvian media indicate that no deaths were reported as a result of the incident, since the rocks only fell on the rear of the main truck involved.
He video was captured from another affected truck, the one that had a camera on its front. In the record, you can see how one of the pieces of roca larger, takes on great speed, and falls abruptly on the cargo vehicle in front, destroying it explosively.
Then, other rocks fall onto the road, even breaking the asphalt.
The driver of the second truck, from where the event was filmed, managed to reverse and get to safety.
Authorities responded quickly to the scene to manage the situation and assess the damage, assuming that recent rains may have destabilized the terrain.
In addition to damaging vehicles, the avalanche destroyed sections of the highway.
