The fire left behind gigantic devastation. In addition to the professional garage, the neighbors’ building, Carrosseriebedrijf Arie Ligthart, was also severely damaged. Furthermore, at least dozens of cars were not spared. This also applies to the car of Rosa (23) from Heerhugowaard. “Yesterday I got a call that I could pick up the car, but then I had to work. We had an appointment for this morning at 9. And now it seems like this.” Rosa had been saving for the car for a long time and was able to pay for it with the help of her parents. “I had only taken it for a test drive. Today I wanted to use it for the first time, but it was nothing more than a test drive”, says Rosa.
