Madagascar has always shone at the Huawei ICT Competition. On the occasion of the launch of the 10ᵉ edition of this competition, the Ministry of Higher Education and Huawei Madagascar signed yesterday a memorandum of understanding intended to strengthen their partnership in favor of information and communication technologies (ICT) in technical education. The agreement emphasizes teacher and students training in the field of telecommunications, with an increased remedy for e-learning and openness to international universities. The objective is to raise the level of skills, to harmonize educational content and to equip establishments to follow the rapid evolution of digital professions. This partnership also intends to develop a pool of TIC talents through educational initiatives and skills development courses, supplemented by professional training for young people. Ultimately, it is a question of supporting employability and meeting the growing market needs by qualified profiles, while consolidating the place of ICT in technical sectors. Symbol of this dynamic, the Huawei ICT Competition offers an excellence platform to measure and enhance the skills of learners. With this protocol, the two parties intend to accelerate the dissemination of knowledge and boost the quality of ICT training in Madagascar.
