How to run to the Housing Fair to acquire subsidies in Bogotá?

The Habitat District Secretariat from Bogotá announced the opening of registrations to participate in Housing Expo 2025an initiative that seeks to facilitate access to new home through subsidies aimed at lower income households.

As the entity said, those interested can register on their website until Monday, May 12. This event focuses on the Preferential Offer program, which assigns subsidy for the acquisition of VIP priority interest housing and social interest in the capital.

Through the X’s X account, they announced the beginning of these registration days: “Are you young and dream of having your own home? In #Expovivienda2025 we give you all the information so that you know our programs and you can access our subsidies,” reads the publication.

What are the requirements to apply?

1. The head of household must be of legal age.
2. The sum of the monthly income of the home must not exceed $ 5,694,000 (4 SMMLV-2025).
3. Not be the owner of Housing in the national territory.
4. Not having received any housing subsidy.
5. No sanctions in subsidy allocation processes.
6. Have a financial closure.

The financial closure refers to: the different sources of resources that can be added to complete the total price of new housing through subsidies, credits or own resources (savings).

The registration procedure to the fair can be done directly on the page of the Habitat Secretariat: Sof-dev.habitatbogota.gov.co, there you must fill out the registration form at the fair.

In addition, the entity stressed that households that meet the established requirements will receive a notification with the information on the place and the assigned shift to continue with the process. However, it was clarified that there are no free housing programs, so beneficiaries must have their own resources or a mortgage loan to complete the financial closure.

The Secretariat also reported that it is vitally important to provide correct contact information at the time of registration, since communications related to the process will be carried out exclusively through email and cell phone number recorded in the form.
