Used to create concentrated resin, Crystal Cores are a vital resource in Genshin Impact. Additionally, they can also be used to craft Frost Potions, Wind Barrier Potions, Hydroculus Resonance Stones, and much more. So it’s always good to have some in your in-game inventory, just in case.

Where to find Crystal Core in Genshin Impact
HoYoverse
Crystal Cores are scattered throughout Teyvat, but there are a few key points to focus on if you want to get your hands on some quickly:
- Sunrise Vineyard
- Guyun Stone Forest
- Statue of the Seven Revolts
- Mount Tianheng
Sunrise Vineyard
Dawn Vineyard is probably the best place to get Crystal Cores in Genshin Impact. Just beyond the mansion you’ll find some crops, with crystalopters flying around them. You should be able to get your hands on a good portion of the resource here.
Guyun Stone Forest
Although there are not many crystal cores on this island, they are all quite close and easy to teleport.

You’ll have to be quick, as they tend to fly a little too high, but with such an easy arrival, they’re worth a visit every now and then.
Statue of the Seven Resurgents
Just like in the Guyun Stone Forest, there is a waypoint right next to these Crystal Crystal Otters, and they are also right next to the giant tree near the water, so they are very easy to spot.

Sure you’ll only catch five of them, but being able to teleport there easily makes them an incredibly easy catch.

Mount Tianheng
Reaching the Crystalloptera on Tianheng Mountain is a bit complicated. You will have to look beyond Liyue Harbor and head towards the small opening. Inside you will have to defeat some Hillichurls.
Once this is done, there will be five Cryptopterans inside. Luckily for you, they can’t escape, so you don’t have to worry about chasing or catching them.
HoYoverse
Once you find your Crystal Core, you’ll need to know how to get hold of it. Fortunately, it’s relatively easy to do.
All you have to do is head towards the Cristaloptera and interact with them. You may need to catch them first. After that, you just need to collect the animal item and the Crystal Cores will be placed in your inventory.

What is this object for?
There are several recipes that require Crystal Core. Mainly used to create concentrated resin and potions. It will also be used to create the Adeptus Gourmet Pot.
