In the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan toldhow the search for a missing three-year-old child in the Almaty region is going, Liter.kz reports.
An operational headquarters was created at the search site. The search involves 300 people and about 80 pieces of equipment, four unmanned aerial vehicles with a thermal imager from the Department of Emergency Situations, ROSO, DP, military unit NG, hunting workers, local residents, volunteers, as well as the Kazaviaspas helicopter.
From the first day, rescuers conducted ground searches using the combing method, lined up in a chain. ROSO rescuers are working to dive into a reservoir located at a distance of 30 meters, and the involved forces and means are conducting ground searches using canine crews on the ground and along the shoreline of the reservoir. All possible locations of the child are being examined, the department reports.
To ensure uninterrupted communication at the search site, the emergency response command and staff vehicle is deployed and operating. The search continues.
A 40-year-old resident of the village of Kush reported her child missing. At about 16:00 on March 17, the girl Aya, born in 2021, left the house and did not return. At 21:30 the mother contacted the police. The police created a special search group consisting of SOBR inspectors, dog handlers and operatives. Rescuers are also working in the area; they have activated a helicopter.
Previously, volunteers published signs of the baby: height about 100-105 centimeters, thin build, long dark hair, brown eyes. She was wearing a pink sleeveless vest with white stripes and a hood, a gray dress, and pink boots on her feet.
