With just over a week left until Hung King’s Commemoration Day, according to regulations, how many days off will students have?
Pursuant to Point e, Clause 1, Article 112 of the 2019 Labor Code, the Hung King’s Commemoration holiday, civil servants, public employees, and employees are entitled to take a day off from work and receive full salary for 1 day on March 10 of the lunar calendar.
In 2024, Hung King’s death anniversary falls on Thursday, April 18. This is the employee’s working day of the week, so the employee will be entitled to 1 day off and receive full salary, without compensatory leave.
Students across the country will also have a one-day holiday according to the calendar of civil servants, public employees, and workers.
By the end of April 18, students across the country returned to normal classes.
According to the regulations of many localities, during the Hung King Commemoration holiday, schools and educational establishments need to strictly implement duty and protection; Closely coordinate with local police to take necessary measures to ensure absolute safety of facilities, equipment, and fire and explosion prevention.
Schools need to propagate, educate, and deploy to students to practice a civilized, elegant lifestyle, maintain social order, safety, and traffic safety; Do not participate in racing or encourage illegal racing.
After the holidays, units and schools need to immediately stabilize order, ensuring activities are planned according to regulations and guiding documents and directions of the Education sector.
