Horror in La Plata: 500 coffins and 200 bags with human remains were found in a cemetery

In the second deposit, known as the “Velatorio Room”, nearly 200 black consortium bags containing skeletal remains were found, many of them without identification of name, niche or cadastral location, along with 15 wooden coffins.

The third place, located on the second floor of the building, housed hundreds of coffins of adults and 22 of children, identified as “little angels”, in addition to consortium bags with bone remains scattered on the floor.

According to the municipality’s statement, all of these places were in “a very poor state of conservation and cleanliness, with nauseating odors and stagnant water.”

After the discovery, the municipality filed a complaint with the Prosecutor’s Office on duty requesting the investigation of possible crimes related to the unidentified bodies and human remains.
