It is said that Gujranwala Chief Traffic Officer SP Aisha Butt, who has been selected by the International Association of Women’s Police for ‘Excellence in Performance Award’ 2025.
Ayesha Butt said that the award has global nominations in different categories. “No one can nominate himself for this award, but every country nominates its people.”
He explained that there is a standard for the award, in which various benchmarks are placed, such as the nature of the work, the performance and the impact on its society.
“People are not nominated from a single country, but candidates from different countries come. Then a jury selects of which people will be given the award. ‘
According to Ayesha Butt, he was given the award on the basis of excellent performance, in which it was a category that had done an unprecedented work, whether it was a criminal tracing or work on road safety.
‘I did a lot of work on road safety in which I improved the licensing and took traffic related measures and did a lot of work for women, based on the ground checking, I was given the award.
“I belong to Gujranwala, where learning for women was also an extraordinary idea,” he said. We not only worked in this regard but also set up specific scooty centers for women, where they are being trained to ride motorcycles. ‘
Regarding the future, SP Aisha Butt said that the decision would be dependent on her commander in which field she should be sent, whether it be a sign of crime or any other sector to deal with them.

SP Aisha Butt will be awarded the World Award at the 62nd Annual Conference held in Glasgow, Scotland in September this year.
According to a Punjab Police spokesman, the award is given to a female police officer from around the world every year in recognition of his extraordinary services.
Inspector General Punjab Dr Usman Anwar congratulated SP Aisha Butt and said that his success is a pride for all police officers, especially women officers.
Earlier, SSP Rafat Bukhari, officer of Lahore Safe City Authority, has also received the award.
