History Will Not Forgive You!

NEW YORK – The United States (US) has shown its true attitude towards Palestine by blocking recommendations to admit the country to the UN.

For Washington, the Palestinian people have no right to their own state, according to Russia’s Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzia at a UN Security Council meeting.

“The essence of the question is simple: does Palestine deserve to be part of the world family, to participate fully in all decisions of international life,” said Nebenzia.

“By using the veto for the fifth time since the start of the escalation in Gaza, they (the US) have again shown their true attitude towards Palestine. For Washington, they (Palestinians) do not deserve to have their own country. “They are only an obstacle in the way of realizing Israel’s interests,” stressed the Russian representative.

“The United States vetoing the proposed resolution on full Palestinian membership in the UN is a futile attempt to change the course of history,” said the Russian envoy.

“The use of the veto by the US delegation today is a futile attempt to stop the inevitable course of history. “The results of the vote, in which Washington was practically in total isolation, already prove it,” stressed Nebenzia.

However, history will not forgive the United States for its actions, according to the diplomat.

“It is not worthy of great power. And history will not forgive you for this,” stressed Nebenzia commenting on the United States’ veto of the UN Security Council resolution to recognize Palestine as a full member of the UN.
