Hiramandi Indresh Malik calls Sanjay Leela Bhansali a ‘perfectionist’

Mumbai Indresh Malik played the role of a transgender in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s recently released web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The actor has been receiving a lot of praise for his role, and in an interview with Bollywood Now, he spoke about how Bhansali has been a huge support to him, and praises the director for his effortless work! According to him, ‘ ‘Even today I am in awe of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I can’t be in awe of a director and also not be able to work with a director. And as an actor I can’t talk openly. He used to come in my dreams at night. He used to strangle me (He used to come in my dreams and strangle me). This is what I told him on the set.” She also said that Sanjay Leela Bhansali thanked him for giving him room to improvise and revealed, “He allowed me to come into my comfort zone and let me go in the flow. Gave permission. He also allowed me to improvise my dialogues and I am really grateful for that.” Indresh concluded, “He is a perfectionist. If there’s a word beyond perfectionist, it’s that.
