Second, using a knife with high lethality for the purpose of violating human life and health against the Law is considered a military weapon.
Third, using highly lethal knives for labor, production, and daily activities is not considered a weapon.
However, to prevent and combat acts of using highly lethal knives for criminal purposes, the Government will regulate measures to ensure safety in production, business, export and import activities. , transporting and using highly lethal knives. Measures must be consistent with reality and not hinder the normal activities of organizations or individuals.
The National Assembly Standing Committee said that with the above regulations, acts related to highly lethal knives, if they do not have a motive or purpose contrary to the law, will not be administratively or criminally handled. Only in cases where it is associated with a criminal purpose can it be determined as a military weapon or rudimentary weapon.
Organizations and individuals that manufacture, trade, export, or import highly lethal knives are responsible for providing information on the quantity, type of product, brand, and name of the manufacturing facility upon request from the local police agency.
