BEIRUT – Arab social media users mock leaders Hizbullah Lebanon’s Hassan Nasrallah after large-scale rocket and drone attacks on Israel.

The reason is that the much-hyped attack did not cause any casualties, but only killed and injured farm chickens in the Jewish state.

Hezbollah claimed to have launched hundreds of rockets and drones into Israel on Sunday and the Zionist military responded by attacking Lebanese territory.

The pro-Iranian militia group claimed to have targeted key Zionist military sites, including the Iron Dome defense system facility.

The attack, described as an initial phase, was a response to the killing of Hezbollah military commander Fuad Shukr in July.

Some Arab Hezbollah fans praised the attacks on Israel, sharing images of damaged homes and small fires.

“Hizbullah’s response today warms and heals our hearts. May God’s peace be upon you, gentlemen of the Mujahideen,” wrote the account. @mmdly135395 at X by sharing a video of a small fire, as quoted Jerusalem PostMonday (26/8/2024).

While others have claimed conspiratorially that it was an implicitly coordinated response between the two sides.

“The initial response to Israel was to destroy the chicken coop, killing a number of chickens and chicks and breaking thousands of eggs. Damn you bastards, you and the Iranian Houthis, you laugh at the Arabs, you and the Zionists are two sides of the same coin, carrying out one project and one goal,” wrote one user X.
