After 104 days, the hostages’ families pledge to take radical measures
Four family members of hostages in Gaza hold a heated press conference in Tel Aviv, pledging to take drastic measures after losing patience with the government, which failed to secure the release of their loved ones after 104 days.
“Time is up (…). Your 100 days of grace are over,” says Daniel Elgarat, brother of hostage Itzik Elgarat.
Daniel says the families will block humanitarian aid from entering Gaza with their bodies.
“We will take extreme measures,” he said, urging the public to stand ready alongside the hostages’ families.

Eli Albag, whose daughter Liri is detained in Gaza, criticizes members of the government, and in particular minister David Amsalem (Likud), for his latest controversial statements, accusing him of acting as if the terrorist attack by the Palestinian group Hamas of 7 October had never happened.
Eli denounces the terms of the agreement in which Israel agreed to transfer the medicines to the hostages, stressing that Israel has no idea who will receive the medicines and whether they actually received them or not.

Shir Siegel, whose father Keith is still in the hands of Hamas, criticizes the government for prioritizing “the destruction of organizations that cannot be destroyed” over the return of their loved ones.
“It’s not up to us to find solutions, it’s up to you,” he said in a harsh message to the government.
“The country is collapsing (…). We finished playing well. We’re done sitting and nodding when you say you’re doing everything you can (…). Stop lying to us. »
