The Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA) in their arena honoring team legend Dwayne Wade later this year It will be installed statue.
On Monday night, the Heat played a home game against the Charlotte Hornets. At halftime, Miami honored Wade with his induction into the NBA Hall of Fame. During the ceremony, Heat president Pat Riley surprised Wade by revealing that a statue would be erected honoring him.
“I’m not someone who is often speechless, I usually have a lot to say. I had never dreamed of something like this. I can only be very grateful to everyone: thank you [komandas īpašnieku] To the Erison family, thank you to the Riley family, thank you to the city of Miami and the state of Florida for the love. I look forward to this day,” Wade was surprised by the announced construction of the statue.
Wade played in the NBA from 2003 to 2019, spending 15 of 17 seasons with the Heat. Wade won three championships with Miami and is the club’s leader in points, assists, steals and games played. Wade has been selected to the All-Star Game 13 times and his number three has been immortalized by both Marquette University and the Heat, which he represents. Wade also earned a spot among the 75 greatest NBA players of all time three years ago.
