French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte intend to submit photographs and scientific evidence to the US court proving that the country’s first lady is a woman.
Publika.az reports that the BBC reported this with reference to the family’s lawyer, Tom Clare.
The reason for this was the American journalist Candace Owens who claimed that Brigitte Macron was born as a man. After that, the Macron couple sued the journalist.
According to the lawyer of the presidential family, the first lady of the country found these allegations “incredibly annoying”, while Emmanuel Macron found them “distracting” and “tiring”.
Clare said that “expert opinions” will be presented in court confirming that Brigitte Macron is a woman. It includes photos of the first lady during her pregnancy, as well as her children. “There are such photos and they will be presented in court,” he added.
According to the Financial Times, the Macron family filed a 218-page lawsuit in Delaware court on July 23. The document accuses Owens of spreading “ridiculous, defamatory and fictitious” information. Among the claims are absurd claims that Brigitte Macron was supposedly born as a man named Jean-Michel Tronier, that the Macron family is related by blood, and that the president is a “product of a CIA experiment.”
Owens previously announced that US President Donald Trump has demanded the suspension of the investigation into Brigitte Macron.
