In court, Dominik Feri confidently attacked the indictment, calling the girls’ statements false and full of inconsistencies, the circuit court complained that he treated him like a politician and thus took away his hope for a fair trial, the prosecutor Aleš Cimbala also heard his opinion.
It was not valid, judge Libor Vávra, who even scolded Feri during the hearing for repeating the same thing over and over, rejected the appeal. And he definitively sent the former deputy to a prison with security for three years, and also ordered him to pay compensation to the victims.
However, Dominik Feri, who attempted suicide in his Žižkov apartment in mid-2022, did not collapse from the verdict. On the contrary. He even left the court in Spálená Street with a smile, sometimes even a laugh on his lips.
