In PASOK have decided to continue to publicly raise the questions about the “editing” of the OSE audios – and this was also seen in yesterday’s speech of Nikos Androulakis in the Parliament on the golden visa, in which the president of PASOK responded to the government criticism he received for ” interventions in Justice” on the occasion of the report he submitted to the prosecutor of the Supreme Court. “Last week you called the motion of no confidence a product of confusion, that is, our constitutional right, as a democratic party, to raise a case in the Parliament together with other opposition parties, which shocks the Greek people because they see that some people are unscrupulous”, he commented Androulakis, targeting the core of Megaros Maximos.
The president of PASOK spoke again about persons who, a few hours after the accident, aimed to “manipulate public opinion”, throwing his arrows at the Minister of Justice, Giorgos Floridis. Responding to the phrase “since the Justice and the investigators have the normal recorded material, what do we care about the rest?”, emanating from the government side, Androulakis spoke of “inhumanity” and “disrespect”, stressing that PASOK will continue the search for the “corrupt people who did not allow remote control to be implemented in time to avoid the tragedy”, but also those who “at the time of the tragedy their priority was the political cost”.
In the next few days, Harilaou Trikoupis will also open issues related to the economy: tomorrow Androulakis is expected to visit the governor of the Bank of Greece, Giannis Stournaras, while on Friday the party’s question with a similar theme is discussed in the Parliament. And these moves are part of the strategy of highlighting issues concerning society, in an institutional way – in the attempt to emerge as the main, serious opposition force and taking advantage of the presence of Androulakis himself in the Parliament, which registered positively last week.
Meanwhile, within the framework of the investigations into the case of the 717 contract, the European investigator Christina Salappa and the mandated European public prosecutor Popi Papandreou reserved yesterday a completely different criminal treatment to two more defendants from the ERGOSE side, who were excused for the 717 contract which concerns the signaling and remote control of the railway network and is connected – according to the Authorities – to the tragedy of Tempe.
Both defendants were released from the courts of the former Evelpidon School, but one was given a high bail – like the previous ones who have passed through the investigative office – of 600,000 euros and, in addition, the restrictive condition of not leaving the country, while the second one was given a bail of 10,000 euros, which is the smallest that has been imposed so far for this case. Legal circles, however, commented that such large differences in criminal treatment in the context of the main investigation are only found when the accused with his apology contributes substantially to the investigation of the case and the revelation of the truth.
They are gone now ten days after the revelatory report of “Vima” which highlighted the leakage of the edited dialogues from the OSE’s recording system, as well as the contradictions in the public statements of officials about how and when this critical evidence was received by the Authorities. A publication that caused political tremors and reactions. And yet, ten full days later, the questions that arose from it remain open and no responsible Authority (the OSE, the government, the Judiciary) has so far shown any intention to seek answers. It’s simple and clear:
1. Who took the recorded dialogues from the closed system of the OSE?
2. Who posted them?
3. Who leaked them to a particular media outlet?
