Handball CAN: Angola ends group stage with only victories

The Angolan National Team finished the first phase of the African Nations Men’s Handball Championship, with 100% victories, after beating the Gabon team, today, Sunday (19).

In the third and final game of the 2020 CAN handball group stage, the Angolans once again outperformed their opponents and came out on top at the end of the match, this time with a final score of 32-26.

Even with a very balanced first half that ended with a partial result of 13-12, in favor of Angola, the national team asserted its favoritism and expanded the advantage from one to six goals in the last 30 minutes of the game.

With this victory, Angola confirmed its status as seed and one of the main favorites to win the competition that takes place in Radès, Tunisia until the 25th of this month.
