Titled “Legal Rationality: On the Rationality of Legal Interpretation,” the latest book by the Moroccan logician Hamou Al-Naqari was published by the Arab Foundation for Thought and Creativity.
The new publication says that this book provides an “Arab pragmatic approximation” of the most important “theoretical and cognitive problems” that were examined in “contemporary Western legal philosophy” with its two theoretical orientations. “Legal orientation with a positivistic tendency” and “Legal orientation with a non-positivist tendency.”
The book also presents the most important “epistemological claims” that distinguish these two approaches and states them in “the conditions and requirements that make the rational theorization of legal knowledge a useful and useful scientific theorization.”
Among what he defends is the author’s most recent publication, “The Spirit of Philosophy,” “The Possibility of a Beneficial, Useful Cognitive Connection,” between “Western Legal Philosophy” and “Islamic Legal Jurisprudence,” between “The Theory of Legal Knowledge” and “The Science of the Principles of Jurisprudence.”
