The Director General of National Security for National Dirt Monitoring, Abdul Latif Hamoushi, received today, Tuesday, in Rabat, Ali Obaid Al Dhaheri, head of the National Intelligence Service of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, who was accompanied by a high -level security delegation, as part of a working visit aimed at developing cooperation and mutual assistance mechanisms, and expanding the areas and levels of coordination and security partnerships.
A communiqué indicated to the pole of the General Directorate of National Security and the General Directorate of National Dirt Monitoring that the discussions between the two sides have focused on ways to enhance operational cooperation and security coordination, and to strengthen the mechanisms of intercourse with information, to confront all other security challenges and threats, especially terrorist risks in various hotbeds of tension.
This meeting also witnessed an evaluation of the escalating security challenges on the African continent, especially in the Sahel and Sahara region, with ways to enhance joint action to confront the challenges of the terrorist phenomenon in the region, which has become a source of increasing concern not only for neighboring countries but also on global peace and security.
These discussions embody, according to the same source, the desire of security interests in the Kingdom of Morocco and the United Arab Emirates to consolidate their joint cooperation and expand the areas of bilateral cooperation between them, ensuring the neutralization of the risks that stare in the security and safety of the two countries in their regional and international surroundings.
