Hajj authorities crack down on unauthorised entry, impose fines on violators

Hajj: Director of Public Security and Hajj Security Committee Major Muhammad al-Bassami announced that Hajj security forces are fully prepared to prevent and deter potential threats that compromise the safety of pilgrims.

on Monday Mecca-Al-Mukarrama Organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Grand Hajj Symposium Speaking at the event, Lt. Gen. Muhammad Al-Bassami reaffirmed the security forces’ commitment to protecting the Hajj pilgrims, the holy sites and the homeland.

Speaking at the event titled “Towards a Safe Hajj: Following the Instructions and Regulations,” Al-Bassami said security forces are equipped with advanced technology and intelligence to detect and respond to any potential security breaches. He also pointed out that security centers are constantly monitoring the situation and are prepared to deal with any incident that disrupts the peace of pilgrims.
