HAGL recruited a star who shocked Southeast Asian football

HAGL plans to recruit Thai striker Adisak Kraisorn in the second phase of V-League 2023-2024.

Not long ago, HAGL Club’s Facebook page posted an article recruiting Thai interpreters.

This move is said to mean that Duc is considering recruiting a Thai star in the second phase of V-League 2023-2024.

Immediately after that, information appeared that HAGL aimed to recruit striker Adisak Kraisorn.

In fact, the fact that the mountain town team wants Adisak Kraisorn’s signature has appeared since September 2023.

But for some reasons, this deal fell through and HAGL was forced to aim for other targets.

Recently, the Thai press also confirmed that the player who won the AFF Cup 2018 top scorer title is one of the people who will have to say goodbye to Terengganu FC (Malaysia) after this season.

This means that HAGL can conduct negotiations with Adisak Kraisorn right from this moment.

Another reason for fans to believe this deal will happen is that the home team at Pleiku Stadium this season is playing very poorly, especially in attack.

By the end of round 6 of V-League 2023-2024, HAGL had only scored exactly 4 goals.

As for Adisak Kraisorn, although he is no longer at his peak, he is still one of the top strikers in Southeast Asia.

The player was born in 1991, has played for the Thai national team 56 times, scored 21 goals and together with “War Elephants” won the AFF Cup 2014, 2020 and 2022 championship.

Notably, at the 2018 AFF Cup, Adisak Kraisorn shocked Southeast Asian football when he scored 6 goals against East Timor, thereby helping Thailand win 7-0.

The 32-year-old striker’s 6 goals were scored in minutes 3, 13, 31, 45, 50, 57 and were all 1-touch finishes. On average, it only takes him 9 minutes to score a goal – an unprecedented performance in AFF Cup history.
