“Garabagh” football player Rahil Mammadov was allowed to transfer to Polish representative LKS (Lodz).
About it Publika.az-a Anar Hajiyev, head of press service of Aghdam club, informed. According to him, the coaching staff and management gave permission to the 28-year-old defender to leave, taking into account the chance and perspective of the local football player to play in Europe.
“Rahil Mammadov said that he received an offer from a Polish club, and that he would like to live a legionary life in Europe if “Qarabag” allows him. The coaching staff and management allowed Rahil, taking into account the chance and perspective of the local football player to play in Europe. The player will undergo a medical examination in the near future. If the process is successful, our club will create conditions for Rahil’s transition.
“Qarabag” always prioritizes the principles of sports and pleasing our fans with results is the main priority. As you know, during the winter transfer period, there were offers for several players, but it was decided not to release any of them. But head coach Gurban Gurbanov wanted Rahil to be a member of our national team, taking into account his desire to live a legionary life and his career perspective, this proposal should be evaluated as an exception, and the management did not object.”
It should be noted that Rahil Mammadov, a student of “Neftchi”, has been working for the success of “Garabagh” since 2018. LKS (Lodz) is currently in the last – 18th place in the Polish Ekstraklasa with 10 points after 18 games.
