Guillermo Anaya receives his certificate of majority and says that there will be no overrepresentation

Guillermo Anaya Llamas, federal representative elected for District 05 of Torreón, of the Fuerza y ​​Corazón por México coalition (PRI, PAN and PRD), received the certificate of majority today at the district headquarters of the INE.

“This commits me to working for my district, for La Laguna, for Mexico” and assured that he will be close to the needs of the citizens and will support the governor, Manolo Jiménez and the re-elected mayor, Román Alberto Cepeda González and 37 other mayors so that have resources in water, safety and health.

He said he is confident that the Constitution will be respected and there will not be the overrepresentation that the official party and its allies are seeking.

Regardless of that, he recalled that 83 years ago the PAN was born as an opposition to an authoritarian regime, and “since then we have been a responsible opposition, now in these difficult circumstances we will be so again.”

In La Laguna the Healthy Water project is unfinished and for the 2025 budget they will pay attention to its completion and the water network can be replenished.

Another issue is security, resources were eliminated from states and municipalities and work will be done to strengthen them.

He also pointed out that as an opposition legislator, he will vote against the destruction of the checks and balances and autonomous organizations that the president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, seeks to establish before the end of his six-year term, already with the new legislature in office as of September 1.
