The Salvadoran Tourism Institute (ISTU) reported that the Cerro Verde Natural Park dawned with clear skies and a spectacular atmosphere to receive hundreds of visitors who this weekend enjoy the traditional Jocote Crown 2025 fair, a celebration that combines nature, gastronomy, art and culture.
The event, which takes place this October 4 and 5 on Cerro Verde, brings together more than 40 entrepreneurs who offer a wide variety of products derived from jocote: from pupusas, wines, jellies, desserts and artisanal drinks, to natural cosmetics made with the fruit. In addition, attendees can enjoy live music, crafts, cultural activities and tours guided by the park paths.
The little ones also have their own space at the fair, where they can participate in art workshops and games designed to stimulate their creativity. “The little ones also live the magic of the Jocote Corona Fair. They enjoy great in the spaces designed to give free rein to their creativity and have fun without stopping,” said the institution.
The ISTU recalled that the general entrance to the park has a cost of $ 2.00 per person, and visitors can leave their vehicles in the enabled parking lots and then be transported free of charge in microbuses to the green hill.
With a festive atmosphere and impressive views of the Izalco volcano and Lake Coatepeque, the Crown Jocote Fair is consolidated as one of the most anticipated celebrations of the season, attracting both national and foreign tourists who seek to enjoy the cultural and natural wealth of El Salvador.
