Guatemala interoceanic corridor launches tokenization in El Salvador

The National Navy of El Salvador reached a new record in the fight against international drug trafficking by intercepting a boat at 1,150 nautical miles (2,130 km) of the coast, transporting 1,795 kilos of cocaine, valued at more than 44.8 million dollars.

President Nayib Bukele reported that three Ecuadorian drug traffickers were captured on the boat. With this seizure, between 2024 and what goes from 2025, the authorities total 39 tons of seized drugs, with a value greater than 977 million dollars.

«A blunt blow to international drug trafficking. We will continue fighting drug trafficking, although some want to avoid it, ”said the president. In the next few days they will be presented to the detainees and the seized drug.
