Guatemala interoceanic corridor launches tokenization in El Salvador

Parents of the Francisco Menéndez National Institute (Inframn) expressed their support for the operations executed this week by the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) and the National Civil Police (PNC), through which a Pandilleril structure was dismantled in training known as “the student race”.

The educational center, which serves approximately 1,700 students, has been the scene of facts related to gang in previous years. Several parents agreed that these actions provide greater security and tranquility to students and their families.

The case

Last Tuesday, the authorities captured 40 students linked to the criminal structure, from four national institutes of San Salvador: 28 of the In Uncraman, 6 of the National Institute Albert Camus, 4 of the National Industrial Technical Institute (INTI) and 2 of the National Institute Military Civic Action.

According to the FGR, young people intended to recruit more members and organized criminal acts. The investigations reveal that they intimidated their classmates, and some are accused of sexual aggressions, drug use and physical violence. Among those captured there are three who were no longer students, but who previously studied in the inframe and now they are presumed to be collaborating from the outside.

The accused will be prosecuted for illicit groups and other related crimes. The authorities reiterated their commitment to eradicate any criminal demonstration in the country’s educational centers.
