Guatemala Interoceanic Corridor launches tokenization in El Salvador

The number of participations registered in the Integra Fairs program of the Integration Directorate increased 36.8% compared to the assistance provided in 2024.

The Integration Directorate informed “Diario El Salvador” that in 2025 they held 54 Integra fairs in different places in the territory, in which they provided 114,331 services, while in 2024 they served 83,600 citizens in said program.

So, in 2025 the increase in participation was 30,731 more people who accessed the fairs for medical care, legal advice, academic reinforcements, entertainment, among others.

The Integra Fairs program has been executed by the Integration Directorate since 2024 under the administration of President Nayib Bukele. The purpose of the program is to promote a new model of social development that consists of bringing opportunities and essential services, such as health, to Salvadorans from different communities and rural areas.

“At the Integra fairs, the community has access to a number of medical, psychological, social work, art, school reinforcement services, etc., that they had not had in the past, which also serve so that young professionals can have job opportunities,” explained the “ad honorem” president of the Integration Directorate, Alejandro Gutman.

During the past year, teams from the Integration Directorate traveled through different departments to provide professional medical, legal and educational services to thousands of Salvadorans who participated in each fair.

The Integra fairs are developed with the participation of different Government institutions with which the Integration Directorate has signed agreements.

For example, in April 2024 it signed an agreement with the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) to bring the legal and psychosocial assistance services provided by the public ministry closer to the population and facilitate access to this right in different communities.

That same month, the institution signed a letter of understanding with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of El Salvador (UES) so that graduates of the Medicine degree and the 11 Health Sciences specialties can collaborate in the Integra Fairs.
