The veterinary days to protect national livestock and companion animals are reaching all areas of the country. These articulated actions between government institutions seek to control the boreride of cattle (GBG), as well as strengthen animal health throughout the country.
The Technical Assistance and Deworming campaign is led by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG), and is developed nationwide in coordination with the Ministry of Health.
The Mosca Cochliomyia Hominivorax is responsible for spreading the bare -bare worm, which is affecting the countries throughout the region.

Specialists guide producers about good practices in the management of livestock, in order to avoid infestations that compromise productivity and animal health.
“To prevent the baranger worm and lower the parasitic load, both in cattle and pets, we have been applying deworming. Similarly, we have been making awareness talks and visits to livestock, this will help us to have the producer knowledge of the problem and thus avoid injuries and injuries in our animals,” said Mag Carlos Ernesto Quintanilla technician.



Likewise, the technician also recalled that El Salvador continues inspections at control points and the surveillance will be maintained nationwide until eradicating parasitosis.

In that sense, José Ismael Hernández Bonilla, another of the beneficiaries shared his satisfaction for the support received and called on the farmers in the country. “I recommend and call everyone to be pending their cattle, to detect injuries and wounds in animals, in the same way, to follow the recommendations of the technicians,” he said.


Agricultural producers and Salvadorans in general are grateful for these days, since before the plague the animals are receiving timely treatment.
