In a context where Salvadoran financial institutions seek to strengthen the loyalty of their clients through innovative incentives, the FEDECRÉDITO SYSTEM has successfully completed its annual “Win Easy” promotion, an initiative that not only rewards loyalty, but also promotes the use of digital and traditional services in an increasingly competitive market.
As an editor with more than 15 years covering the banking and cooperative sector in Central America, I have seen how campaigns like this evolve from simple raffles to comprehensive strategies that promote financial inclusion, especially in a country like El Salvador, where access to credit and savings is key to post-pandemic economic growth and amid the adoption of bitcoin as legal tender since 2021.

The third and last draw of this promotion was held on December 19, 2025 in San Salvador, rewarding hundreds of members and clients who have made active use of the products and services of the FEDECRÉDITO SYSTEM. On this occasion, exactly 249 winners were favored with an impressive range of prizes: 4 Volkswagen SAVEIRO pickup trucks, 25 Suzuki motorcycles, 30 cash prizes of US $500.00 each, 40 cash prizes of US $250.00, 60 cash prizes of US $200.00 and 90 cash prizes of US $100.00. These incentives not only represent tangible value for the beneficiaries, but also reflect the financial strength of the cooperative system, which has distributed more than $390,000 in prizes throughout the entire promotion, benefiting a total of 710 winners in its three drawings.
To contextualize, the FEDECRÉDITO SYSTEM – founded in 1977 as a network of credit unions and workers’ banks – has been a pillar in the Salvadoran economy, promoting savings and accessible credit for sectors such as microentrepreneurs, entrepreneurial women and low-income families. Promotions like Win Easy are not new to them; In previous editions, such as 2023 and 2024, they have awarded similar prizes, adding millions in incentives and attracting thousands of participants. These campaigns align with regional trends, where entities such as cooperatives in Costa Rica or Guatemala use raffles to compete with commercial banks and fintechs, promoting banking in a region where, according to data from the World Bank, only 55% of the adult population in El Salvador has a formal bank account.

The participation mechanism in Gana Fácil was designed to be inclusive and simple, encouraging daily operations: all members and clients were assigned an electronic number when paying the monthly installment of the current Loan, contracting Loans, payment of the Popular Credit installment, payment of Family Remittances, opening or renewing a Term Deposit, opening or increasing the Crece Mujer Savings Account, opening or increasing a Savings Account, obtaining Debit Cards and Credit from the FEDECRÉDITO SYSTEM, for every US $100.00 accumulated in purchases with the SISTEMA FEDECRÉDITO Debit and Credit Cards, and for every US $75.00 accumulated in cash withdrawals with the SISTEMA FEDECRÉDITO Credit Cards.
Furthermore, to promote digitalization – a key focus in the sector since the expansion of post-2020 mobile banking – when carrying out these operations in FEDE MÓVIL, FEDE BANKING or Fede, the Virtual Assistant, two electronic numbers were assigned to participate, and an additional electronic number when making transfers through FEDE MÓVIL’s Mi QR.
This structure not only maximizes participation, but also aligns with local regulations that encourage financial innovation, such as those promoted by the Superintendence of the Financial System. To guarantee the transparency and legality of the draw, the municipal delegate Licda was present. Evelyn Rodríguez, a recurring figure in events of this type who adds credibility in an environment where trust in institutions is essential.

“We are pleased to conclude this edition of GANA FÁCIL with which we have awarded more than $390,000 in prizes to 710 winners. This day we reward the loyalty of 249 lucky winners who were favored in the third and final drawing of this promotion. We invite you to continue making use of the products and services offered by the Credit Unions and Workers’ Banks members of the FEDECRÉDITO SYSTEM so that they can participate in promotions like this one,” commented Claudia Abrego, Communications Manager of FEDECRÉDITO.
His words highlight the focus on customer retention, a strategy that, in my experience, has proven to be effective for cooperative entities in volatile markets such as Salvador, where inflation and migration impact consumption.
With more than 850 service points nationwide, the FEDECRÉDITO SYSTEM is positioned as one of the most extensive financial networks in the country, comparable to networks such as those of Banrural in Guatemala. For more information, those interested can visit their branches or call the Call Center 2221-3333. This promotion not only closes a successful cycle, but also anticipates future initiatives in a sector that, with the integration of cryptocurrencies and digital banking, promises more innovation. At El Economista Digital, we will continue to monitor how these strategies impact the local economy, remembering that the real winner is the inclusive financial ecosystem.
