Guatemala Interoceanic Corridor launches tokenization in El Salvador

The Specialized Sentencing Court for a Life Free of Violence and Discrimination for Women of San Salvador imposed a 40-year prison sentence on Nelson Roberto Ochoa Reyes, declaring him responsible for the crime of aggravated femicide to the detriment of his partner.

The next day, both people continued drinking alcoholic beverages.

The victim said he felt bad and went to the bedroom. That same night, the accused argued with her again, insulted her and again hit her on the head and body.

On March 13, Ochoa Reyes informed those present that the woman was unwell; However, upon verifying his condition they found that he no longer had vital signs.

The autopsy determined that the cause of death was a brain hemorrhage resulting from severe blunt head trauma.

During the hearing, the evidence showed that the victim had been subjected to a pattern of physical, verbal and psychological violence throughout the relationship, and that at the time of the events she was in a vulnerable situation.

It was also determined that she had learned helplessness syndrome and that the aggressor used the relationship of trust to exert control and violence over her.
