Guatemala Interoceanic Corridor launches tokenization in El Salvador

Judge two of the Fifth Court Against Organized Crime of San Salvador imposed a sentence of 397 years in prison on Pedro Melara Romero, alias Caballo, for the crimes of proposition and conspiracy in aggravated homicide, aggravated extortion, preparatory acts, proposition, conspiracy and criminal associations, in addition to illicit groups, to the detriment of public peace.

Likewise, Wilfredo Alonso Mancía Alberto, alias Frijol, was sentenced to 180 years in prison for proposition and conspiracy in aggravated homicide, deprivation of liberty, aggravated extortion and illicit groups.

Likewise, Miriam Elizabeth Gutiérrez, alias La Miriam, received a sentence of 109 years in prison for aggravated extortion and illicit groups.

In total, another 44 people were sentenced with sentences ranging from three to 94 years in prison.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, they are all part of the Sexta Quebranta Huesos Locos Sureños gang, belonging to the 18 Sureños gang, which operated in various sectors of San Salvador Centro.

Among those convicted are four leaders of the clique, among them:
•José David Ayala Renderos, alias Morro, court runner of the Model 2 and 3 courts.
•Alias ​​Caballo, as a tribe runner.
•Hugo Armando Chávez Murcia and Jonathan Ernesto Hernández Vides, alias Yoster, both palavers of the structure.
