Green Herald International School started using blockchain technology to prevent certification fraud. They started this technology as the first educational institution in the country.
The notification sent by the institution on Friday (March 15) informed that through this the students of the school will be protected from certificate fraud. Conventional paper certificates are easily falsified, which can create problems in employment as well as in embassies. Taking that into consideration, GreenHerald is using Digiland’s blockchain solution to ensure tamper-proof authenticity.
Recently led by GreenHerald (GH) alumni, an agreement was signed between GreenHerald School and Digiland.
Incidentally, DigiLand is a blockchain startup that does certificate verification. It provides a reliable solution for verifying the authenticity of certificates. This creates an immutable digital record for the certificate. As a result, the certificate can be verified immediately and its reliability increases. Certificates are digitally recorded on the blockchain and can be accessed via QR codes.
March 2023 marks the launch of the first official GH Alumni Network of SFX Greenherald International School. Its Chief Patron is Principal Sister Virginia Asha Gomez RNDM, Chief Mentor Senior Teacher Ronald Cruz, Alumni Network Founder President Sonia Bashir Kabir and Secretary General Barrister Mahin M Rahman.

GH Alumni Secretary General Barrister Mahin M Rahman said, ‘This decision will be very beneficial for the past, present and future students and the school administration.’
