With the Accountability hearing effective 2022, the Government of Cesar demonstrated that the investments made have satisfactorily impacted the Cesar community, with major works of social transformation, among which are mentioned the Educational Infrastructure Plan, the Road Plan, and the Water Revolution. , sports venues, dispersion projects, agreements with municipalities and Saloa zone free of social inequality.

Two and a half hours was little time for Governor Andrés Felipe Meza Araújo to present all the progress of the Development Plan ‘We Do It Better’, built by Governor Luis Alberto Monsalvo and, considered the plan of the greatest executions that it has had. the history of the department of Cesar, with its five macroprojects.

There are 322 classrooms that are being executed and 40 in process, which are part of the Educational Infrastructure Plan, thus settling the debt owed to the students due to the deficit of classrooms in the different municipalities of Cesar. In addition, a classroom was built at the Popular University of Cesar, Aguachica headquarters, the UPC dining room in Valledupar, the first stone of the National Open and Distance University, UNAD in Curumaní, becoming the first consolidated university in the central area of ​​Cesar. “It is the university of peace, a university for victims, we are focusing and concentrating on all the processes associated with improving educational coverage and quality,” Governor Meza emphasized.

The Road Plan, another ambitious project, improves living, communication and commerce conditions in the urban and rural areas of the department with the construction of 367 kilometers of secondary and tertiary roads, called roads of peace, rural development and roads of competitiveness. .

“Within the framework of the Cesar-La Guajira functional pact, we intervened in 22 sections, 18 municipalities, 300 kilometers with more than $593.00 million, there are additionally three sections and the road to the path to El Cielo will be the first to be inaugurated in the country, within this pact, which made us worthy of recognition and congratulations from EnTerritorio and the National Planning Department,” he indicated.

We continue with the water revolution, there are eight urban centers that are currently benefiting from the investment of more than $220,000 million by Aguas del Cesar, an urban area with a historical debt of Codazzi, Astrea, Bosconia, Aguachica, Becerril, San Alberto, La Gloria, Curumaní, El Copey, which is making an important investment and the highest in the history of the department that could have been made.

Another notable investment in this government is the Vallenata Music Cultural Center, which is 47.5% complete. It is a great project that will safeguard and preserve Vallenata music and boost the economy.

There are also the projects that have generated direct benefits to citizens and they are: Strengthening 144 community action boards so that they are protagonists of their own development; gasification where households abandon firewood and pipettes for natural gas, being safer, more efficient and economical; entrepreneurship for people with disabilities with ‘My Capacity is Greater’, also support for mothers who are heads of households, agricultural and environmental projects.

Representative Jorge Eliécer Salazar stated that, “today the reports submitted demonstrate the capacity and quality in action that was designed in that development plan.
