Next Thursday, a government council will be held, headed by Aziz Akhannouch, Prime Minister.
A statement from the Presidency of the Government stated that the Council will initially consider a draft law related to changing and completing the law issued regarding the reform of regional investment centers and the creation of unified regional investment committees.
The same source added that the Government Council will then consider two draft decrees: The first of these relates to determining the methods of maintaining the list of arbitrators and the conditions for registering and finalizing it, and the second relates to the design, production, maintenance and seaworthiness of aircraft.
He continued that the Council will then examine an agreement concluded within the framework of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea regarding the conservation and sustainable use of marine biological diversity in areas beyond the limits of national jurisdiction, adopted in New York on June 19, 2023, and signed by the Kingdom of Morocco on September 21, 2021. With a draft law approving the aforementioned agreement.
The communication indicated that the Council will conclude its work by studying proposals for appointment to senior positions, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 92 of the Constitution.
