The Moroccan comedy duo Idriss and Mehdi are preparing to present the first European artistic tour with their feature film “Jouj”, which was released in Moroccan cinemas last year and achieved a significant percentage of revenues that made it remain in Moroccan halls for months.

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, April 17, the two Moroccan comedians will present their feature film in French cinemas on a tour that will include more than 40 stops, out of their desire to bring the Moroccan community abroad closer to their cinematic productions and to market commercial films across borders.

After the movie “Jog” managed to top the box office when it was shown in cinema halls about a year ago, he was able to book a ticket again to cross and return to the halls a few days after Eid al-Fitr.

The story of the film, according to its makers, revolves around a comedic style in a new and renewed style that is different from what is being circulated in the cinematic and television artistic scene, as it tells the story of Halim and Mounir, two friends who accidentally find a magic notebook and write down a wish on it that enables them to remain alone on earth, so that this comes true and they set off on a journey. They enter into an adventure full of purely comedic and farcical situations.

It is worth noting that the story of the feature film “Jawj” was written by screenwriter Bushra Malak, alongside Idris and Mahdi. While this tape was directed by Rabih Shajid, it stars Idris, Mehdi, Salwa Zerhan, Rafiq Boubacar, Sakina Darabil, and Amal Al-Atrash.
