Google presented Doppl, an innovative application that promises to completely transform the experience of online clothing. It is a virtual tester based on artificial intelligence that allows users to see how a garment would look from a simple photograph of whole body.
The tool was launched as part of Google Labs experimental projects, after its presentation at the I/O 2025 developers event. In that framework, the company revealed a image generation system that precisely analyzes the shape of the human body and the details of the clothing, to simulate how different sets look directly on the user’s image.

With only one photo or screenshot of a product saved on the cell phone, Dopl digitally adjusts the garment to the body, contemplating postures, proportions and even the texture and fall of the material. Although it is still in an initial phase, Google already allows you to share the results on social networks or with friends to consult opinions before deciding the purchase.
The application, for now available only on iOS and Android devices in the United States, uses an advanced visualization model that seeks to reduce one of the main problems of online purchases: returns due to differences between what is seen on the screen and how clothes are really.

According to the company, Doppl seeks to facilitate more informed decisions and reduce consumer frustration, offering a realistic prior view of the product. Although Google did not confirm an international launch date, the tool already generates great expectation in the world of e-commerce and digital fashion.
