Good Government Seminar brings together the new leaders of Cesar and Magdalena

At the Estelar Santamar Convention Center, the fourth version of the Good Government Seminar is held, attended by the new governors, mayors, councilors and deputies from their area of ​​influence in the departments of Cesar and Magdalena.

The event began with the Drummond Carbon Neutrality Strategy conference, led by Alberto García. Followed by Socialization of the Territorial Development Monitor by Dr. Jaime Arteaga.

The conference The Regional Challenges in Human Rights will be led by José Rafael Unda and the day will close with the intervention of the Attorney General of the Nation, Margarita Cabello.

The seminar will continue until Friday, December 1. Around 200 government leaders participate, belonging to the departments of Cesar and Magdalena, and the municipalities of Agustín Codazzi, Becerril, La Jagua de Ibirico, Chiriguaná, El Paso, Bosconia, El Copey, in the department of Cesar; and the municipalities of Algarrobo, Fundación, Aracataca, Zona Bananera and Ciénaga, in Magdalena, which are part of the mining, railway and port influence areas of Drummond, are concentrated in this Seminar.

The objective is to provide them with tools that help them strengthen and develop the public management that they will carry out starting January 1 of next year, as well as strengthen the relationship with the company.

The purpose of the event is to provide tools to new leaders and elected leaders so that they can structure better management on relevant issues for their communities, associated with human rights, transparent management, policies, treasury and public finances, innovation projects, territorial development , security planning and coexistence in their areas, among others of interest. Due to its structure, the space will also be ideal for interacting, sharing experiences, exchanging ideas and reviewing success stories from other governments, which will allow them to work for the benefit of their communities.
