AVGI mourns a beloved one. Dionysis Paleothodoros, the spouse of our colleague Loulis Stavrogiannis, passed on to the great beyond upfront on Thursday at midday, filling with disappointment all people who have been fortunate sufficient to grasp him.
Our Dionysis, at all times beside the gorgeous and the ugly, the thrill and the sorrows of the newspaper and its other people, together with his disarming kindness, humor, wisdom and militancy stood as a beacon to remind us and continuously battle for the our plural Left and its values.
His love for his local Zakynthos and public training, which he served and defended with dignity and keenness, his giving and generosity, his confirmation of the wonderful thing about existence, his skill to identify the certain components in other people, his sobriety and his honest view and grievance in opposition to the happenings of society, politics and on a regular basis existence made him a distinct and precious interlocutor.
The Dionysus we met within the marches and demonstrations, the Dionysus who cooked for us and comforted us, the Dionysus who shared the wine and calabash, the Dionysus the trainer who taught the scholars Physics and Ethics will at all times stay in our reminiscence.
