The display technologies that Vestel exhibited at the International Consumer Electronics Show (IFA 2024) held in Berlin, the capital of Germany, allowed visitors to witness the display experience of the future. Stating that the company acts with the vision of being the ‘platform of platforms’, Vestel CEO Ergün Güler pointed out in his statement at IFA 2024 that the company offers a wide range of Smart TV operating system platforms. Güler said, “In addition to TV models that meet the needs of the end consumer in every segment, we continue our discussions on new technologies to meet the expectations of retailers. Televisions now have a very different potential as a revenue generation model and home advertising space. Major TV platforms now generate a large portion of their revenue from advertising. On the other hand, we also have direct agreements with global content providers such as Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+. In addition to global content, we also support local platforms such as Tabii, Blu TV, Exxen and continue to highlight them in the global game. Sustainable televisions from Vestel

TVs produced using Biolive material, which demonstrates the importance the company attaches to environmentally friendly production processes, were exhibited at IFA 2024. Güler made the following statement on the subject: “We are continuously making investments in line with our goal of sustainable production and adding positive value to nature. In this context, the Biolive company, which we invested in through Vestel Ventures, produces completely natural bioplastic granules obtained from olive waste. This innovative raw material, which does not contain carcinogenic or toxic substances, offers sustainable alternatives to different sectors. We support our commitment to sustainability with concrete steps by using this material in both our television and white goods production. Thanks to the use of bioplastic granules, we have managed to reduce the use of petroleum-based plastic in TV production by an average of 99 percent.”

DVB-I compatible TV from Telefunken

While the company strengthens its global growth strategy with its own and licensed brands, it is taking an important step in Italy with the Telefunken brand.
