The start of the Girabola 2021/2022 season, the 1st division national football championship, has been marked by great balance at the top of the classification and excitement, after eight rounds have been played.
After the eighth round of the championship, the distances between the first five classified are short, and between the first and fifth classified, there is only a difference of four points.
With teams with games still to be played, due to calendar and logistical problems, several teams still have games to play, such as Petro de Luanda, Interclube and, 1° de Agosto, all with a game behind and Sagrada Esperança , with two games to play.
This weekend, several games were dismissed, with emphasis on Petro vs Williete de Benguela, first and second placed, which ended 0-0, 1° de Agosto beat Desportivo da Lunda-Sul, Interclube beat Bravos Maquis 2-0.
With these results, Petro continues at the top of the league table with 17 points, followed by Williete de Benguela, with 16 points, Interclube appears in third place, with 15 points, followed by Sagrada Esperança with 14, closing the top 5 o 1 ° of August with 13 points.
