Get vouchers when paying with your Visa card at any store during the Olympic Games

Visa, the world leader in digital payments, announces the launch of a promotional campaign in Madagascar for the Olympic season. In partnership with the Carrefour supermarket, this campaign aims to encourage the use of Visa cards by offering free vouchers to consumers.

Rewards for Visa card purchases

This initiative is designed to reward Visa cardholders who make purchases worth MGA 200,000 or more and pay with their Visa card at any retail outlet in the country. In return, they will receive a MGA 20,000 voucher to use on their next visit to Carrefour supermarkets. The vouchers will be distributed to holders of payment receipts either at the Visa Games City or at the Visa exchange booth located at Akoor Digue.

Promoting electronic payments

The campaign is part of Visa’s ongoing efforts to promote electronic payments and reduce cash transactions in Madagascar. By encouraging the use of Visa cards, the company aims to enhance the security and convenience of financial transactions while providing added value to Malagasy consumers.

Creation of a City of Games

To enhance this campaign, Visa has planned the creation of a Games City at Akoor Digue. This stand, specially designed for the event, will offer various activities on the theme of the Olympic Games. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in games, win gifts and surprises, and exchange their bank receipts for vouchers. The aim is to create an immersive and festive experience for all participants.

Entertainment for the public

The atmosphere at the Cité des Jeux will be animated by a DJ who will provide the music and a master of ceremonies who will continuously communicate the details of the campaign and guide visitors to the different activities offered by Visa. This system is designed to attract a wide audience and maximize the impact of the promotional campaign.
