Get Ready! BSD Toll Road Tariffs Will Increase Soon

JAKARTA – The Pondok Aren – Serpong Toll Road (BSD Toll Road) will soon experience tariff adjustments. This is based on the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Number 2149/KPTS/M/2024.

This is also as reported through the official Instagram account @infobsdtol, that this tariff adjustment will apply at 8 Pondok – Aren Serpong toll gates.

“In the near future, there will be a tariff adjustment on the Pondok Aren-Serpong Toll Road based on the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Number 2149/KPTS/M/2024 concerning the Adjustment of Toll Tariffs for the Pondok Aren-Serpong Toll Road,” wrote the official Instagram account of the BSD Toll Road, quoted Sunday (31/8/2024).

The tariff adjustment will only apply to 8 toll gates, namely Pondok Aren 1 toll gate, Pondok Aren 2 toll gate, Serpong 2 toll gate, Serpong 3 toll gate, Serpong 6 toll gate, and Serpong 7 toll gate.

Just for additional information, the increase in toll rates is a mandate from Law No. 2 of 2022 concerning the Second Amendment to Law No. 38 of 2004 concerning Roads. Article 48 paragraph 3 states that adjustments to toll road rates can be made every 2 (two) years based on the influence of the inflation rate and evaluation of the fulfillment of the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) for Toll Roads.
