Gervonta Davis vs Vasiliy Lomachenko Held in November, Bob Arum: Negotiations Smooth!

A big boxing fight will be held this year. Top Rank boxing promoter, Bob Arum is currently planning the Gervonta Davis vs Vasiliy Lomachenko duel which is planned to be held in November 2024.

No Gervonta Davis is currently a hot subject in boxing following his knockout win over Frank Martin in Las Vegas last weekend. Many potential opponents want to challenge Gervonta Davis into the ring, but Bob Arum as the famous promoter wants to be at the forefront.

In a recent interview with Boxing Scene, Bob Arum said that his party had moved quickly to find an opponent for the closest fight against the boxer nicknamed Tank. According to him, the name Vasiliy Lomachenko is the most realistic.

“We are ready for that fight. Lomachenko is also ready,” said Bob Arum.

Lomachenko and Gervonta Davis have been eyeing each other for years, and now it looks like the two teams have agreed to make the fight happen. Arum said he would meet with Davis’ team to try to work out a deal, which they have been working on since before the Frank Martin fight.

“Hopefully, we can structure this for some time in November. There’s no forcing anyone to the negotiating table. Both sides know this is a big fight, which means they’re expecting a lot of money, and they’re both competitive people. I’m optimistic that negotiations will run smoothly,” said Bob Arum.
