Chery built 1.88 million cars last year, about half of which were intended for export. In the meantime, a dealer network is also being built up in our country. Derek Du, the Benelux director of Chery, told the trade magazine Autonieuws that Pagnotta could be secured in Genk as the first Belgian dealer. The Omoda brand is already listed among the Italian brands on their website.

In De Tijd, manager Paolo Pagnotta explains his choice for the Chinese cars. “Many of our customers have a budget of 10,000 to 25,000 euros for a new car. We used to sell a lot of Fiats for that. Now we have a great alternative.” (KMe)
