Vienna (OTS) – For almost 5 years, the government has been sinking our business location, and a quarter of a year before the election, the Chancellor is reinventing the world! The “growth plan” for Austria’s economy presented by Chancellor Nehammer with IV President Knill and WK President Mahrer includes important cornerstones such as reducing bureaucracy, reducing taxes, strengthening the capital market and reducing non-wage labor costs. In addition to rejecting red-tape fantasies, there should also be a close alliance between politics, business and industry in order to get Austria’s business location back on track and secure prosperity.
From the point of view of the Freedom Party, all of these are demands and important decisions, but Federal Executive Board member Markus Schoas stresses: “Chancellor Nehammer and his center-left government lack any credibility when an “economic action plan” is presented shortly before the National Council elections. Shortly before the election, Nehammer is now pressing the copy button to take up the Freedom Party’s proposals that have been made permanent and to distract from the blatant failure of the Nehammer government in economic and labor market policy!
The fact is: only an FPÖ and its economic organisation FW in the next federal government can rebuild Austria as a business location!”
